Our Story

Handmade Idaho was founded in 2019 with the goal of increasing opportunities for local artisans. We believe in the importance of supporting our local makers and our community while creating a truly local experience. Our inaugural holiday event at the El Korah Shrine was well attended in November of 2019, and featured over 60 artists as well as some "little makers." In 2020 we pivoted to create options during the pandemic as our show had to be cancelled and our first holiday pop-up shop was born. In 2021 we brought back both the show and the pop-up shop and in November of 2022 we opened our year round store. We believe in local!

Ways to participate in Handmade Idaho? We still host our annual holiday show and we are always seeking new vendors with retail ready products for our store.

Our new brick and mortar shop in the Boise Towne Square Mall is open 7 days a week. It's never been easier to send love from Idaho!
