Our Blackcurrant "Cassis" Syrup is made with a European variety of berries that has a distinctively sharp and earthy flavor. Cassis syrup is excellent when paired with fresh citrus juice and lighter spirits, such as vodka, tequila, or gin. You can make sodas, desserts, and so much more with this rich, decadent syrup.

The blackcurrant is native to northern Europe and Asia. The growing and importation of currants were banned in most of the United States in 1911 due to a presumed risk of fungus that threatened the timber industry. This forbidden fruit has recently been reintroduced into certain areas of the United States and we are proud to be using it to create a unique cocktail ingredient for your imbibing pleasure!
