  • Handmade Idaho's Holiday pop-up shop is back! This year we will be open for 38 days of sales, starting the week before Black Friday and ending the day after Christmas, these are the busiest shopping days of the year! That means your goods will be available for purchase for the entire Christmas shopping season, making your sales potential much higher than a show. The store is going to be a fully curated experience featuring local gifts for everyone. We have rented a beautiful, well-lit storefront in the Boise Towne Square Mall.

    Working in the storefront is not required to participate.

    Covid-19: We will be following all guidelines required including masks, social distancing and limits on numbers of shoppers in the store. Please note that that is an ever-changing situation and we continue evaluating the situation and will adapt as needed!

    Promotion: Our social media will feature daily posts about items in the store, maker introductions and gift boxes (these will begin before we open!) We will be promoting posts and advertising. We ask that each of our vendors helps to spread the word. We will have postcards available that you can give out.

    Price tags: Barcodes and prices are required on the products in the store. We can issue internal barcodes, and can print barcodes for you if needed. If you currently use barcodes, we will help you integrate them into our point of sale system. All products must be delivered to the store during receiving hours unless other arrangements have been made.

    Sales Tax: Handmade Idaho will be collecting and paying all the sales tax for sales on the website and in the store. You will NOT be responsible for remitting that sales tax.

    Online Marketplace: You have the opportunity to sell on our website at no additional cost; it is integrated with our point of sale; it will feature our curated gift boxes and items for sale. You can choose to have your items not for sale online, remember however that customers may visit the website to pre-shop before coming to our brick and mortar shop. We are going to be offering pickup and shipping.

    Gift Boxes: We will be curating gift boxes that will be available in the store and online (shipping or pickup.) If you would like us to feature your items please let us know what you have in mind. Please note these are curated boxes and we cannot promise inclusion in the boxes. All selected items will have to be provided ahead of time so we can photograph and make up boxes.

    All fees go towards space rental, insurance, utilities, marketing, staffing, license fee and credit card processing. Booth fees and contracts are due within 3 days of acceptance. No refunds after fees are received.

    The store is curated and we want your best sellers! We are jurying all products (please note we are limited on space this year and we may not be able to accommodate all items.) If you for example make one of kind mugs and they are all different in embellishment/design this can be one item below, attach a few photos of different ones showing the variety!
